Try Job Boardly →What JBoard and Niceboard each meter
JBoard counts jobs (the total alive on your board), AI backfilled jobs a month (jobs its AI imports), job scraper sources and team members. Basic allows 1,000 jobs, 100 AI backfilled jobs, 3 scraper sources and 1 team member. Standard allows 3,000, 300, 10 and 2. Job seeker profiles start on Standard.
Niceboard counts active jobs (published, unexpired jobs), job seeker accounts, team members and import runs, each run being one scheduled pass of its web scraper or XML import. Core allows 5,000 active jobs, 25,000 job seeker accounts, 2 team members and 10 runs of each kind a month. Niceboard does not say how many jobs one run carries, and each count is that vendor's own, so compare none across vendors.
Backfill and imports on each
Backfill means filling a board with listings from outside sources when employers have not posted them. JBoard says its AI finds matching listings from 200K+ career sites and imports them daily, and its XML feed importer starts on Advanced. Niceboard backfills from partner feeds and lists a web scraper and an XML import on Core, each limited by monthly runs.
Revenue, payments and trials
JBoard says it charges a flat monthly fee, keeps none of your revenue and sends payments to your own Stripe account, with Stripe's own fees on top. Niceboard says it takes no cut of your profits and works with Stripe only for now.
JBoard's trial lasts 14 days and asks for a card because a board may go live during it. Niceboard's pricing page says "Try free for 7 days", and its sign-up flow includes an "Add a payment method" step. Niceboard does not extend trials.
For the payback arithmetic, let P be a monthly fee and N what one paid posting nets after Stripe's fee. At an assumed N of $100, an illustration and not a forecast, JBoard Basic at $149 billed monthly needs 2 paid postings a month, Niceboard Core at $399 billed monthly needs 4, and Job Boardly Standard at $60 billed monthly needs 1.
Where Job Boardly fits as a third option
Job Boardly Standard is $60 a month billed monthly or $40 a month billed annually ($480 a year), with 2 team members, 10,000 active jobs and 1,000 job imports a month. The candidate paywall, paid posts, packages and the Job Backfiller (its tool for adding outside listings) come with every plan. Its 14-day free trial needs a card to start, charges nothing until it ends and caps imports at 250.
Pick JBoard for the lower entry price of the two and four public tiers. Pick Niceboard for an association that wants a booked call and its "Hybrid / revenue share pricing option" (see Niceboard alternatives). Pick Job Boardly for a self-serve founder who wants the lowest monthly fee of the three, backfilled listings and a paywall: Job Boardly vs Niceboard and Job Boardly vs JBoard compare it plan by plan.
