What is Job Boardly: hosted software for a niche job board

Job Boardly is software at jobboardly.com for building and running a job board without writing code. The vendor hosts it. You connect your own domain, such as a dedicated site or a jobs subdomain, design the board in a visual editor and publish. Its home page says the platform covers design, job inventory, monetization and search tools in one place, and that it bills through your own Stripe account.

The parts of the platform you get

• A board builder and a visual theme builder. The home page says you can also export a section's HTML and CSS, edit it and bring it back.
• Custom domains with HTTPS included. The vendor says a board works alongside WordPress.
• Employer and candidate profiles, job alerts and dedicated search landing pages for keywords, places and categories.
• More than 30 languages, custom pages that can serve as a blog and custom code where you want it.

How a board gets its first jobs

A new board can look empty, so the platform offers two ways to fill it. The Job Backfiller matches listings from a database the vendor puts at roughly 12 million active jobs, filtered by job title, keyword, industry and location. The Job Aggregator imports from the company career pages and job feeds you choose. CSV imports work on every plan and XML imports on Pro and Ultra.

Both tools draw on a monthly import allowance that grows with the plan. The terms restrict what you may do with backfilled listings, which the review covers in the Job Boardly review.

How a board earns on this platform

• Paid job posts: the Stripe page describes basic, promoted and featured posts, each with its own price set by you.
• Packages and employer subscriptions: the vendor sells packages on every plan and employer subscriptions on Pro and Ultra.
• A candidate paywall: the feature page says most listings can sit behind a subscription or one-time payment, with some left visible as a preview.
• Paid employer messaging, on the plans that include in-product messaging.
• Payments run through Stripe Checkout, and the vendor says other payment providers can connect through a payment link. You set your own prices.

How readers find a board

The SEO page says every listing carries JobPosting structured data, with automatic XML sitemaps and editable meta titles and descriptions, and the home page adds submission through Google's Indexing API. The vendor also lets a board publish an llms.txt file that you write yourself. What Job Boardly is not, and who it fits

• It is not a source of employers or job seekers. The board needs its own audience, and the vendor's customer count of more than 1,000 boards is its own statement.
• It is not a WordPress plugin. A WordPress site can link to it on a subdomain, and the shortlist covers plugin options.
• It is not a promise of traffic or income. The revenue calculator on the vendor's home page is labeled an estimate only, and the page says actual revenue depends on your pricing, niche and audience.
• It is not priced on this page. Amounts stay on the vendor's live pricing page.
