✓ Boards that can run on a dedicated domain or a subdomain beside an existing site
— Associations that want managed setup, an account manager or revenue-share pricing
— Owners who want the board inside an existing WordPress site
— Boards that cannot use Stripe
— Employers or agencies that want to hire for their own roles rather than run a board for a niche
Job Boardly vs Niceboard: the main difference is how each one scales
Both are hosted platforms with a custom domain, backfilled listings, Stripe-based payments and flat self-serve plans that take no cut of what employers pay you. The differences are in the ladder and the meters. Job Boardly shows three self-serve plans, each with a 14-day trial. Niceboard shows two self-serve plans, a Custom tier through sales and an Enterprise and Associations route with managed setup.
Both vendors' pages were read on October 31, 2026, and amounts are left to those pages.
Side by side: what each vendor's pages state
- Plans: Job Boardly lists Standard, Pro and Ultra. Niceboard lists Core and Advanced, then Custom for larger boards, and invites a 7-day trial.
- Active jobs: Job Boardly 10,000, 20,000 and 50,000. Niceboard 5,000, 10,000 and 30,000 on Custom.
- Job seeker records: Job Boardly lists profiles at 10,000, 25,000 and 100,000. Niceboard lists accounts at 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000.
- Team members: Job Boardly 2, 5 and 10. Niceboard 2, 5 and unlimited on Custom.
- Import meter: Job Boardly counts imported jobs, with 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000 a month shared by the Backfiller and Aggregator, and credits beyond that. Niceboard counts import runs, with 10, 30 and 60 web scraper runs and 10, 60 and 120 XML runs a month.
- White label: Job Boardly includes it from Pro. Niceboard lists removal of its logo on Advanced.
- Employer subscriptions: Job Boardly includes them from Pro. Niceboard lists pricing subscriptions, packages and upsells from Core.
- Interfaces: Job Boardly offers a management API and webhooks on Pro and a headless API on Ultra. Niceboard lists Zapier and webhooks on Advanced and API access on Custom.
- Google Jobs: Job Boardly lists Google Jobs markup and the Indexing API on every plan. Niceboard lists Google Jobs real-time indexing on Advanced.
Payments and who keeps the revenue
Both vendors say money from employers reaches your own Stripe account. Niceboard's FAQ says it takes no cut of your revenue, and that for now it supports Stripe only. Job Boardly's Stripe page says other payment providers can connect through a payment link.
Niceboard's pricing page does not say how many jobs one import run can carry, so its run counts do not convert to Job Boardly's job counts. Ask both vendors for the figure that matches the number of listings you plan to import.
Who each vendor's pages suit
- Job Boardly's home page speaks to founders who want to launch quickly, fill the board with backfilled listings and sell postings, a paywall and subscriptions, and its customer stories are about niche boards.
- Niceboard's pages speak to associations, nonprofits, communities, staffing agencies and universities, and its footer lists pages for several association management systems.
- Niceboard's Enterprise route lists managed setup, a dedicated account manager, data migration and a hybrid or revenue-share pricing option, which Job Boardly's pricing page does not list.
Which to choose
- Choose Job Boardly if you want a third self-serve rung, an import allowance counted per listing, a candidate paywall on every plan, or employer subscriptions and white label from the middle plan.
- Choose Niceboard if you run an association or nonprofit that wants managed setup, a sales-led route, an account manager or a hybrid pricing option.
- Choose neither yet if you want the board inside an existing WordPress site. WP Job Manager's core plugin is free, as the shortlist explains.
Questions to ask before you pay
- Which meter will my busiest month hit first, active jobs, imported jobs or import runs?
- What happens to my listings and data if I cancel? Niceboard says you own the data and can export it. The Job Boardly pricing guide sets out the renewal and refund terms.
- Does my payment setup fit? Check whether Stripe is available for your business before you commit to either.
- How long is each trial and what does it need? Job Boardly's lasts 14 days and needs a card, and Niceboard's page invites a 7-day trial.
