Is Job Boardly free? No free plan, a 14-day trial with a card

Last reviewed October 31, 2026

Quick answerNo: Job Boardly has no free plan, only a 14-day free trial on each plan that needs a card and becomes a paid plan unless canceled. A WordPress site owner may prefer WP Job Manager's free core plugin.

Is Job Boardly free? A trial, not a free plan

No, Job Boardly is not free: it has no free plan, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial that needs a card. As read on October 31, 2026, Standard is $60 a month, billed monthly, or $40 a month, billed annually ($480 a year).

The free part of Job Boardly is the 14-day trial, and the card you add at sign-up is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Neither its pricing page nor its terms states a money-back guarantee.

What the 14-day trial includes and caps

Job imports are capped at 250 during the trial, and the plan's full monthly allowance unlocks when it ends. A job import is one listing that Job Boardly's Backfiller or Aggregator brings onto the board; the allowance is 1,000 a month on Standard, 2,000 on Pro and 5,000 on Ultra.

Each customer gets one trial, and Job Boardly may decline or end a trial it believes is being misused. The trial wording is new: section 4.7 of its terms, version 1.2, took effect on October 29, 2026.

What happens when the trial ends

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the plan starts automatically and the saved card is charged. On Standard that is $60 for a month billed monthly, or $480 for a year billed annually, because subscription fees are payable in advance. Cancel inside the trial and you pay nothing.

After the first charge, cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period, and the terms give no pro-rata refunds unless the law requires one. Credit packs for extra imports are final and non-refundable. Is Job Boardly legit covers the rest of the terms, and Job Boardly pricing covers all three plans.

Free and trial options from other job board software

  • Niceboard: a 7-day trial, with a payment method asked for in its sign-up flow.
  • JBoard: a 14-day trial; a card is required because, JBoard says, a board may go live during the trial.
  • JobBoard.io: a 14-day trial; its home page says no credit card is required, and its agreement says subscription fees are paid by card.
  • SmartJobBoard: a 14-day trial; its trial page says no credit card is required.
  • WP Job Manager: a free core plugin, with hosting and paid add-ons extra; the add-ons carry a 14-day refund.

Pick Job Boardly's trial to build a paid board on hosted software if you can add a card. Pick WP Job Manager if a free core on hosting you already pay for matters more, or JobBoard.io if you want to start without a card. Free job board software compares every option.
