Job Boardly review: what it is and what it includes
Job Boardly is hosted job board software at jobboardly.com. You sign up, connect your own domain, design the board in a visual editor and publish. Its home page says the platform arrives complete, with design, job inventory, monetization and search tools in one place, and that payments go through your own Stripe account.
This review reads the vendor's home, pricing and feature pages and its terms as of October 31, 2026. It leaves amounts to the live pricing page, so the focus here is what the plans include and where they stop.
What the three plans include
- Standard: the board builder, paywall and paid job posts, the Job Backfiller and Job Aggregator, candidate and employer profiles and application stages with notes. It allows 2 team members, 10,000 active jobs and 1,000 job imports a month.
- Pro: everything in Standard plus white label, employer subscriptions, a management API with webhooks and an XML importer. It allows 5 team members, 20,000 active jobs and 2,000 imports.
- Ultra: everything in Pro plus in-product messaging, a headless API and priority support. It allows 10 team members, 50,000 active jobs and 5,000 imports.
- Search tools: the home page lists Google Jobs structured data on every listing, the Google Indexing API and automatic XML sitemaps.
- Trial: every plan starts with a 14-day trial that needs a card. The terms cap imports at 250 during the trial and allow one trial per customer.
How a board gets its listings
The Job Backfiller connects to a database the vendor puts at roughly 12 million active listings and filters it by job title, keyword, industry and location. The Job Aggregator works source by source: you name the company career pages and job feeds to import. Both draw on one monthly import allowance, and CSV imports are available on every plan.
The terms set conditions. Backfilled listings are licensed to Job Boardly by outside data providers for publication on your Job Boardly board only, and you may not resell or redistribute them. With the Aggregator, you are responsible for having the right to import from each source you configure. Listings from either tool are compiled automatically and come without a warranty on accuracy or currency.
Limits to weigh before you choose it
- The paywall hides most listings by default behind a subscription or one-time payment, with a preview left open. Google's job posting policies list postings that need a login to see the description among those it does not allow, so check which pages you want in Google's job results. How to start a job board website covers the markup rules.
- Payments are Stripe-first. The terms say subscriptions are processed through Stripe, and the vendor's Stripe page says other payment providers can connect through a payment link.
- Subscriptions renew automatically, cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period, the terms give no pro-rata refunds unless the law requires one and credit purchases are final.
- White label and employer subscriptions start on Pro. The headless API and in-product messaging start on Ultra.
- The count of more than 1,000 boards and the customer quotes on the home page are the vendor's own statements.
Who Job Boardly fits, and who should pick something else
- It fits a solo founder or small team starting one niche board that wants paid postings, a paywall or subscriptions and backfilled listings from day one, without code. The home page says a custom domain works alongside WordPress, so a board can sit on a subdomain beside an existing site.
- Choose another tool if you are an association that wants managed setup or revenue-share pricing. Job Boardly vs Niceboard sets out one route, and the shortlist covers more.
- Choose a plugin if you want the board inside your WordPress site. WP Job Manager's core plugin is free, and its WordPress.org page lists paid extensions for advanced functions.
- Read Niceboard's pages too if you want an alternative with a sales-led tier. The Job Boardly pricing guide sets the plan limits out in one place.
