Quick answerJob Boardly sells three plans, Standard, Pro and Ultra, billed monthly or annually, and each starts with a 14-day trial that needs a card. The plans differ by team seats, active jobs, monthly imports and a few features. Amounts sit on the live pricing page, so this guide shows the limits and the arithmetic to run yourself.
Job Boardly is likely to fit when

✓ Founders launching one niche board who want a hosted platform with backfilled listings

✓ Boards that plan to sell paid postings, packages, employer subscriptions or a paywall

✓ Owners who are comfortable with Stripe as the payment setup

✓ Boards that can run on a dedicated domain or a subdomain beside an existing site

Important limitations

— Associations that want managed setup, an account manager or revenue-share pricing

— Owners who want the board inside an existing WordPress site

— Boards that cannot use Stripe

— Employers or agencies that want to hire for their own roles rather than run a board for a niche

Job Boardly pricing: three plans and two billing choices

Job Boardly lists three plans, Standard, Pro and Ultra. The pricing page has a monthly view and an annual view, and the vendor says annual billing saves 33 percent. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial. A card is needed to start, nothing is charged until the trial ends and the plan begins automatically unless you cancel first.

This guide reads the vendor's pricing page, feature pages and terms as of October 31, 2026. It leaves the amounts to the live page, which shows them for each billing view, and concentrates on what each plan allows.

Limits by plan

  • Standard: 2 team members, 1,000 imports a month, 10,000 active jobs, 10,000 job alert subscribers and 10,000 job seeker profiles.
  • Pro: 5 team members, 2,000 imports a month, 20,000 active jobs, 20,000 job alert subscribers and 25,000 job seeker profiles.
  • Ultra: 10 team members, 5,000 imports a month, 50,000 active jobs, 50,000 job alert subscribers and 100,000 job seeker profiles.
  • The terms add that team members include the account owner, and that the Billing page in your dashboard shows your use against each limit.

What each step up adds, and when it is worth it

  • On every plan: the board builder, theme builder, custom domain, multi-language support, charging for job posts, a candidate paywall, featured listings and packages, automatic sales tax and invoices through Stripe Tax, the Backfiller and Aggregator, the CSV importer, weekly job alert emails, Google Jobs structured data, the Indexing API, application stages and notes, two-factor authentication, email support and live chat.
  • Pro adds white label, employer subscriptions, the XML importer, alert emails with a custom send day and time or sent from your own email domain, and the management API with webhooks.
  • Ultra adds the headless API, in-product messaging and priority support.

Import credits, extra fees and the trial limit

Each plan includes a monthly import allowance that the Job Backfiller and Job Aggregator share. Past it, imports carry on using credits. One credit imports one extra job, credits are sold in blocks of 1,000 with larger bundles priced lower per credit, and they stay valid for 12 months from purchase. The terms make credit purchases final and non-refundable.

CSV imports are free on every plan and XML imports are free on Pro and Ultra, and neither uses the allowance. During the trial you can import up to 250 jobs, and your plan's full allowance unlocks when the trial ends. The terms allow one free trial per customer.

Where the vendor's pages disagree: changing plans

The pricing page FAQ says upgrades take effect at once and are prorated, while downgrades apply at the next billing cycle. The terms say a move to a higher or lower plan takes effect straight away, with the difference in price for the rest of the billing period adjusted on your next invoice. Read the billing screen in your dashboard before you downgrade, and keep a copy of what it says.

How to work out your yearly cost and total

  • Plan fee: take the monthly figure from the live page times 12, or the annual figure, whichever billing you choose.
  • Credits: if your niche needs more imports than the allowance, count the blocks of 1,000 you expect to buy.
  • Payment processing: employer payments run through your own Stripe account, so add whatever Stripe charges on those payments. The plan fee is a separate item.
  • Renewal and cancellation: monthly and annual plans renew automatically, cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period and the terms give no pro-rata refunds unless the law requires one. The terms promise at least 30 days' notice of price changes.
  • Then run the same sum for another platform. Job Boardly vs Niceboard and the shortlist line up the limits, and the Job Boardly review covers the rest.
